Job summary

Spurwink Services seeks a Treatment Foster Care Support Specialist in Biddeford, ME. This 20-hour/week role offers afternoon/early evening shifts 2–3 days per week, with flexibility for additional hours.

You will build skills in foster children, support foster families, supervise visits, and work with clinicians and case managers on individualized treatment plans. Strong customer service and driving requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree strongly encouraged and Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One or more years of experience in educational or social service environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record per Spurwink Driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Build social, coping, and independent living skills with children.
• Support foster families and supervise visits with birth families.
• Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, and foster families on individualized treatment.
• Supervise visits between foster children and biological families and report concerns.
• Provide one-on-one support to foster children when indicated.
• Engage clients, families, and foster teams with strengths-based approaches.
