Job summary

The Oak Harbor Company in Woodinville is hiring Forklift Operators/Dock Workers for part-time roles starting at 4am. You will be responsible for safely loading and unloading trailers, managing delivery paperwork, and maintaining company reliability standards.

The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old, preferably holds a High School Diploma or GED, and has experience in a warehouse setting. Effective communication and basic arithmetic skills are essential as well.

Part Time / Monday - Friday / 4am start

We are a regional trucking company with over a century of service in multiple states. We are looking for Forklift Operators/Dock Workers to help with loading, unloading, and shipping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks within specified timelines.
• Note and record exceptions in count or condition of shipments to minimize cargo claims.
• Manage paperwork, including delivery receipts, bills of lading, trailer manifests, and hazardous material shipment accuracy.
• Regroup shipments as needed.
• Meet the company's reliability standard.
• Be available to work various shifts during the week to accommodate business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent; strongly preferred.
• Warehouse or similar experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Use simple arithmetic, weight, and measurement skills.
• Experience using tools, machines, and special equipment such as hand truck, dock cart, pallet jack, barrel truck, dock plates, load locks, and rope.
• Communicate positively and effectively with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/management.
• Experience in an LTL operation preferred.
• Basic English language proficiency (reading, writing, and verbal) required.
