Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Restaurant Associates unit is seeking a part-time Food Service Utility at Steam Coffee Bar, Hartford, CT. The role maintains kitchen work areas, cleans equipment and utensils, and supports banquet and front-of-house setup.

Schedule is part-time, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with days varying. Prior high-volume cleaning experience is preferred. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and cleans garbage containers.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet setup and front-of-house duties.
• Loads/unloads and delivers supplies and products.
• Distributes utensils and equipment as needed.
• Follows sanitation and safety requirements.
