Job summary

Chartwells K12 in Baldwin, MI is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier to support school meals programs.

Responsibilities include cashiering, food prep, sanitation, maintaining service standards and handling transactions at the point of sale. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, based on the school calendar, with online applications accepted only. Training is provided and weekends/holidays are not required.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Part-time schedule and school calendar.
• Online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering and sales transactions at the point of sale.
• Handle food prep tasks including washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring ingredients.
• Maintain sanitation in prep, service, and dining areas.
• Ensure proper serving temperatures and portion control.
• Assist customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner and resolve complaints.
