Job Description

Under immediate to general supervision, performs routine work in simple food preparation, serving, and cleanup tasks. Work assignments are clearly defined and performed under established work procedures and policies. Positions may provide training to new employees but would not be assigned work leader responsibilities such as assigning and monitoring work.

Hours: 5 pm - 8 pm, working every other weekend and holiday.

Wage: $18.422/hr (Breakdown: $15.422 base + $3.00 differential).

Examples of work include:

• Preparing vegetables and fruits for salads, making sandwiches, grilling, and deep-frying.
• Assisting Food Service Workers in preparing various foods.
• Setting tables, filling condiments, and serving food at the service counter.
• Stocking serving lines, serving as cashier, operating dishwashing equipment, and cleaning kitchen and dining areas.
• Delivering food carts to outlying areas.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: No specific education or experience required. Must be 16 years of age.

Knowledge of personal hygiene, kitchen equipment, food preparation procedures, and sanitation standards.

Ability to follow safety practices, handle hot equipment safely, communicate effectively, and stand for long periods.
