Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store is hiring a Part Time Food Production Associate in Lexington, KY. You will help prepare sliced meats and cheeses, assemble sandwiches, and assist in various food production tasks in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include food safety, stocking, and operating equipment like rotisserie ovens and broasters. You must be at least 16 years old and able to lift up to 50 lbs while delivering friendly, accurate customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Able to multitask and work solo or in a team.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sliced meats and cheeses, and make sandwiches and wraps.
• Juice and prepare ingredients for beverages.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas.
• Use Rotisserie Oven up to 3 times daily.
• Use a broaster to cook chicken and other items.
• Take temperatures of cooked and cold foods.
• Change oil in broasters.
