Westborn Market, located in Berkley, MI, is seeking a Floral Associate to assist customers, process orders, and manage plant and flower displays. The role emphasizes product knowledge, accurate transactions, and a welcoming shopping experience in the Floral department.

Responsibilities include cashier duties, handling arrangements, plant care, and maintaining a tidy, hazards-free workspace. The position reports to Floral Manager and Floral Shift Leader.

Qualifications

• Proper phone etiquette while taking orders or messages
• Demonstrates basic math skills with and without a calculator
• Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
• Knowledge of product to properly assist customers for a positive shopping experience

• Waters and maintains all plants according to watering schedule

• Abides by Westborn Market's time and attendance policy
• Keeps positive and helpful attitude during length of shift
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Job Description

This position will require interaction with the customer when placing orders, suggesting products and processing payment for the transaction. Professional and efficient service to customers is expected all while demonstrating a high level of product knowledge.
