Triton College is seeking an Instructional Aide for the Fitness Center to create a welcoming, safe environment and guide participants in using cardio and strength equipment. You will maintain equipment and support with basic lifts, check-in, and inquiries, ensuring a high level of service.

The role requires fitness-related study or experience, CPR/AED certification (within 30 days of hire), and a readiness to work up to 28 hours weekly at an hourly rate of $17.00.

Qualifications

• Experience or pursuing a degree in fitness, training, or related field.
• CPR / AED certified or able to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• First Aid certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for participants.
• Spot basic lifts and assist with proper form (e.g., squat, chest press, shoulder press).
• Inspect and maintain fitness equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Check in students and manage center communications as needed.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and provide customer support to patrons.
