Global Medical Response is hiring a Firefighter EMT in Glenwood, Illinois. This part-time role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care while serving the community.

The position requires EMT-B certification, IL BOF certification, an active CPR/AED credential, and a valid state driver’s license. You’ll join a team focused on safety, teamwork, and responsiveness in emergency situations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• IL BOF certification (state issued) required.
• EMT-B certification (state issued) required.
• Current AHA CPR/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency fire scenes and assist in fire suppression with appropriate extinguishing agents.
• Operate fire equipment and gear; drive and operate fire apparatus; conduct search and rescue; ventilation and salvage operations.
• Conduct fire safety, home safety, fire extinguisher and pre-fire planning inspections.
• Work with allied health and public safety personnel and colleagues across agencies.
• Participate in community programs to maintain company image and relations.
