Job summary

Cohere is seeking an AI Data Trainer to support financial modelling tasks and finance-based questions as an independent contractor. You will teach the model to handle equity research style queries, label outputs, and write prompts according to our style guide.

This is a part-time, 16 hours/week engagement at $30/hour available for Canada-based candidates with BYOD. Responsibilities include evaluating model responses in Excel, preparing financial prompts with verified data, and following defined

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in equity research, corporate finance, M&A, private equity, or corporate development.
• CFA is a plus and finance education background required.
• Experience interpreting complex financial statements, earnings decks, charts and graphs.
• Experience with preparing and understanding financial statements, key metrics, business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the model’s ability to respond to objective financial queries and avoid giving financial advice.
• Write financial prompts along with verified information to evaluate the model’s accuracy.
• Label, proofread, and improve machine-written and human-written financial outputs.
• Follow our style guide and make recommendations on unique situations beyond its scope.
• Evaluate financial models in Excel.
