Hoplite Group seeks a Fighter Pilot Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a USG effort building partner aviation capabilities through operational advising, analysis, training, and sustainment planning. Location: Remote CONUS and forward engagements (OCONUS).

The role is part-time with variable hours and travel. Requires retired O-6 with fighter pilot experience (F-16/F-18/F-35), active US Secret clearance, and strong knowledge of defense planning, CONOPS, and aviation capability development.

Qualifications

• Retired O-6 with squadron/group/wing command experience.
• F-16, F/A-18, or F-35 pilot experience required.
• Strong understanding of US defense planning and strategy development.

Responsabilités

• Provide operational analysis, planning, training, and sustainment advisory support for combat aviation capability development.
• Assist in readiness reporting and CONOPS development.
• Assist in aviation capability development and institutional capacity-building efforts.

Hoplite Group is seeking a Fighter Pilot Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a U.S. Government (USG) building partner capacity effort focused on strengthening a partner nation's combat aviation capabilities through operational advising, analysis, training, and sustainment planning.Location:

Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS) as part of a U.S. Government advising effort.Level of Effort:

Non-travel months: Approximately 30-50 hours/month. Travel months: Approximately 80-90 hours/month. Initial travel anticipated December 2026Availability:

ImmediateObjective:

Support combat aviation capability development efforts through operational analysis, planning, training, and sustainment advisory support.Required Qualifications:

• Retired O-6 with experience commanding at the Squadron, Group, or Wing level.
• Experience as an F-16, F/A-18, or F-35 pilot.
• Understanding of U.S. defense planning and strategy development.
• Experience with operational analysis, readiness reporting, and doctrine or CONOPS development.
• Experience supporting combat aircraft operations planning and strategy development.
• Experience evaluating operational plans and operational risk.
• Graduate of SAASS, SAMS, SAW, or similar advanced military planning program.
• Experience supporting aviation capability development or institutional capacity-building efforts.
• Active US Secret Security clearance.
