Job summary

KETV in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Part Time Local News Photographer to capture field moments and bring them into viewers' homes.

You will shoot, edit, and produce clips for broadcasts and online, working with reporters and the News Director to tell compelling stories.

The role requires newsroom experience, the ability to handle gear, a valid driver's license, and professional, ethical journalism.

Qualifications

• Training in the art of video photojournalism.
• Professional or college experience in a newsroom.
• Must operate digital editing tools; knowledge of Adobe Premiere and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Shooting and editing VOs, VO-SOTs and packages for broadcast air and online.
• Work with Assignment Desk and Reporters to cover daily stories.
• Shoot on assigned professional camera equipment; edit with Premiere.
