Job summary

BMI is seeking a Part-Time Music Researcher to conduct music and market research and report back to the team. The role involves visiting local bars, venues, and restaurants during peak times, including evenings and weekends.

It’s a field position reporting to the Manager, Business Affairs. Responsibilities include visiting establishments for in-person research, detailing reports on music usage, recording performances, and photographing interiors and exteriors of locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Availability to work late evenings and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit local establishments to conduct in-person research at assigned locations.
• Complete detailed reports of any music that’s being used.
• Record any music performances.
• Photograph both interior and exterior of assigned locations.
