Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Field Technician (20 hours/week) to support laboratory operations by collecting samples from client locations, transporting them to the lab, and documenting pickups to preserve sample integrity.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and accurate chain-of-custody records. You will work under the Field Service Manager and Couriers to ensure timely pickups, proper labeling, and compliant handling of samples in a fast-paced testing

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Above average attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate a Company vehicle and observe all applicable safety protocols and laws.
• Clean driving record (over previous 36 months).

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to drive to and from client locations for the purposes of retrieving samples and then deliver them to the laboratory.
• Promote the Company's brand through professional interactions with clients and observable safe driving practices.
• Sample pick-up on a planned schedule according to customer requirements.
• Maintain storage of samples in accordance with established SOPs.
• Ensure legal documentation is complete and accurate (Chain of Custody Forms).
• Maintain logs and communicate with management regarding samples, schedules, and issues.
