A growing financial services organization is seeking a Part-time Entry-Level Project Accountant to support federal programs and internal projects. This primarily on-site role in Virginia offers recent graduates an ideal opportunity for hands-on experience in financial operations, with the potential to transition to full-time. Qualifications
Minimum of one year of relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting.
Strong understanding of financial management in complex organizations.
Experience with federal agencies is a plus.
Responsibilities
Track project budgets and forecasts.
Assist with state tax compliance.
Ensure costs are allowable and reasonable per FAR and CAS.
Support audits and ensure compliance.
Prepare and submit invoices according to contract terms.
