Job summary

J.Jill is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to deliver a welcoming, personalized shopping experience. You will build relationships with guests, offer styling advice, and contribute to meeting sales goals while supporting store operations and visual standards.

The role emphasizes fashion enthusiasm, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Retail or customer service experience preferred
Passion for fashion and styling
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Customer-focused and able to assist and style
Excellent communication and collaboration with team

Responsibilities

Build connections with customers by providing personalized service and styling advice.
Assist customers in finding products and ensuring a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience while helping achieve sales goals.
Develop a strong understanding of merchandise to offer expert guidance and recommendations.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and floor sets; participate in marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
Proactively address customer needs with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support store success.
