Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking physicians to provide patient-centered primary care for employees at our Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care centers. This role offers a smaller patient panel and longer visits, allowing you to focus on quality, preventive care, and strong patient relationships.

Our model eliminates fee-for-service with a monthly membership, emphasizing collaboration with a care team and improved health outcomes in a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of residency in Family Practice or Internal Medicine + Pediatric.
• Board certification or eligibility and intent to certify required; Active state license required; DEA preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date; dispensing license may be required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered primary care to employees at Marathon Health Centers through Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care.
• Develop and maintain strong patient relationships within a capitated-fee model with larger time allocations (30–60 minutes).
• Collaborate with care team to deliver high-quality, cost-conscious care and preventive services.

You will provide patient-centered primary care, to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers through an Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care. Appointments of 30-60 minutes allow extra time for the care team to spend with patients. We remove the distorted fee-for-service incentives – all care provided by providers is included in our monthly membership fee (paid for by the employer). Pay Range

$49,500 - $58,500/yr for a schedule of 9hrs a week. The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive.
