Job summary

Shepherd Church is seeking a friendly, organized Connections Team Member to help create an exceptional experience for families and guests during weekend services and events at Porter Ranch, CA. This part-time role supports check-in, registration, and lobby operations to make guests feel valued.

You will welcome families, assist with registrations, recruit and care for volunteers, and help guests connect with Shepherd Church across activities and services.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable learning and utilizing church management systems and administrative tools.
• Ability to recruit, coordinate, and care for volunteers.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for new families at Shepherd Kids.
• Oversee weekend check-in, guest registration, and lobby operations.
• Welcome families and answer questions that come up.
• Work at and schedule additional support needed for all Shepherd Kids and Shepherd Youth events to ensure an exceptional experience for kids and their families.
• Recruit, schedule, and care for guest experience volunteers.
• Track guest engagement and first-time family registrations.
• Follow up with new families and help them get connected to Shepherd Church.
