Job summary

Home Work Staffing is seeking a Part-Time Nanny / Manny / Family Assistant for a Chester, NJ family. The role runs Monday–Friday, 1:00–6:00 PM or 2:00–7:00 PM with 25 hours guaranteed weekly, and includes driving, meal prep, laundry, and household coordination.

This position requires a self-starter who mentors two teenage boys, maintains a sugar-free, protein-forward dinner plan, and keeps the home organized. A valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Nanny, Manny, Family Assistant or similar private household role.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Up-to-date vaccinations (COVID-19 and flu).
• Strong organization and reliability with attention to detail.
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Pick the boys up from school and drive them to activities.
• Plan and cook healthy dinners, sugar-free and nut-free, every night.
• Do grocery shopping and household errands; restock supplies.
• Do the household laundry and keep common areas tidy.
• Coordinate afternoon schedules and family logistics; remind about commitments.
• Mentor the boys to encourage accountability, good habits and independence.
• Care for the family’s two guinea pigs as needed.
• Anticipate household needs and take initiative; handle other tasks as needed.
