San Jacinto College is seeking a Part-Time Faculty member to teach Respiratory Therapy related coursework at the Central campus. This role is not a current vacancy and is filled as needed, with potential evening or weekend classes and on-site duties.

The candidate must hold an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy, have at least three years of relevant experience, and be licensed by the Texas Medical Board to practice respiratory care. Salary is aligned with the Board-approved AH schedule.

Part-Time Faculty - Respiratory Therapy (Central)

Teaching Respiratory Care related course work.

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have an Associate Degree (or higher level degree) in Respiratory Therapy.
• Must have at least three (3) years' work experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• Must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board to Practice Respiratory Care.

Salary Grade: AH

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule
