  • Valid California Community College instructor credential, appropriate to the subject, per Education Code 87355, issued prior to July 1, 1990.
  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience relevant to the position.
  • Associate’s degree and six years of professional experience relevant to the position.
  • A combination of education and experience that is equivalent to the above.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Meet one of the following qualifications:
    • Valid California Community College instructor credential, appropriate to the subject, per Education Code 87355, issued prior to July 1 , 1990.
    • Any bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience relevant to the position.
    • Associate’s degree and six years of professional experience relevant to the position.
    • A combination of education and experience that is equivalent to the above.
  • Evidence of sensitivity to, understanding of, and ability to manage a diverse classroom environment, and effectively provide instruction to community‑college students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds.

  • Recent community‑college or lower‑division teaching experience.
  • Expertise and professional experience in the field(s) to be taught.

Salary: Based on Lecture Hour Equivalent in accordance with the current Part‑Time Faculty Salary Schedule.
