St. Charles Community College (SCC) invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Part-time Faculty – English as a Second Language and/or Intensive English to teach reading, writing, oral skills, and composition in English as a Second Language for Fall 2026.

Part-time appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis. A Master’s degree in TESOL or applied linguistics is required, and additional graduate hours in related sub-skills are a plus. SCC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

• 15 graduate hours in education, composition, reading/phonics, pronunciation, culture, writing, or foreign language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support student success and ESOL program goals.
