San Jacinto College seeks part-time faculty to teach CPD related business Professions courses. Positions are reviewed as openings occur and are not current vacancies, with assignments on an as-needed basis for the duration of each course. Instructors are held to a part-time compensation structure with eligibility based on the college's board-approved salary schedule for the current year.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years' work experience in a business-related field.
• Experience training adult learners.
• Certification/Licensure within a specific area of instruction may be required in some cases.

Teaching Business Professions CPD related course work.

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes.

CPD courses may be held on any of the three (3) campuses, or at external training sites.

• Associates degree or higher in a related field.
• Curriculum design in an adult learning environment.
