Job summary

National University in San Diego seeks part-time faculty to teach Computer Science within the College of Business, Engineering and Technology. This hybrid role requires a strong commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning and ongoing scholarly activity.

You will provide timely feedback, manage assessments, and collaborate with the program and student services to support diverse adult learners. A master’s degree is required, with PhD preferred and U.S. work authorization.

• Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, when applicable.
• Provide feedback to the course lead regarding the course content.
• Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.

Job Description

The Department of Engineering, Data, and Computer Sciences, in the College of Business, Engineering and Technology at the National University invites applications for part-time faculty with a specialization in Computer Science. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of, or potential for excellence in, the following: teaching in their field, a commitment to serving the university's diverse adult student body, and related scholarship and/or research . This position primarily works closely with the Academic Program Director and other faculty within the program and contributes to ensuring program quality, student engagement, and success.
