Chief is seeking a Food & Beverage Specialist to join our club-like environment in San Francisco. This part-time role requires 20–25 hours per week and focuses on serving members with warmth and professionalism while upholding our standards.

You will manage food and beverage service, assist with ordering, inventory, and cost controls to support profitability. The position emphasizes knowledge of culinary techniques, restaurant operations, and a passion for our mission.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve all food and beverages, including specialty coffees, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Assist members with ordering needs and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of offerings including allergens and presentation.
  • Conduct inventory of bar and kitchen supplies and manage stock levels.
  • Track costs, waste, and update POS systems with menu changes and reports.
  • Collaborate with the Clubhouse Manager to manage purchasing and inventory.
  • Assist with food preparations and plating for daily and event menus.
  • Ensure compliance with DOH and company sanitation standards.
  • Label and store products following FIFO and DOH regulations.
  • Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of bar and kitchen areas.
  • Support dishwashing, trash disposal, and overall kitchen organization.
  • Participate in improvement projects and cost-saving initiatives.

This role is Part-Time, with an expected commitment of 20–25 hours per week.
About the Role:

The Food & Beverage Specialist’s primary goal is to serve members in a warm, accommodating, professional manner. This team member must provide a consistent level of service that meets the company standards and exceeds the expectations of the members. The specialist must ultimately uphold the values and mission statement of the Company while performing positional responsibilities and adhering to operational standards.

Your duties and responsibilities are the following, but not limited to:
