Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies; respond to emergencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting security-related concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly, coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency services.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal reporting requirements.
