Job summary

Security Industry Specialists is seeking an Off-Duty Officer in San Jose, CA for part-time work. You will support multiple client needs, from executive protection to on-site security, with emphasis on planning and threat assessment.

This role requires a strong security background and high customer service standards. Responsibilities include emergency response, surveillance support, and product escort, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three plus years of law enforcement experience.
• Active/retired law enforcement status.
• POST certification.
• Active CCW and Exposed Firearms permits.
• Proof of annual firearms requalification or training.
• State guard certification per state law and client requirements.
• Team player with professionalism and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Function in stressful situations with composure.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Build a safe and professional environment for visitors and clients.
• Observe unusual activity and respond to emergencies on-site.
• Support investigations and surveillance activities.
• Escort products and assist in executive protection tasks.
• Perform related duties as required.
