Job summary

Sage-Haus is seeking a Part-Time Household Manager to support a busy White Stone family in Virginia. The role focuses on organization, routines, meal planning, shopping, laundry, pet care, and coordinating household systems across weekly schedules.

The ideal candidate works 20–25 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with morning hours, and may receive mileage reimbursement. A background check is required, and applicants must be US-authorized and pet-friendly.

• Comfortable in a home with dogs and cats; no allergies to pets.

Responsibilities

• Own and build household organization systems from the ground up.
• Perform daily resets: tidying surfaces, dishes, light vacuuming of high-traffic areas.
• Prepare the home ahead of the every-other-week housekeeper visit.
• Seasonal clothing swaps and bedding rotations.
• Holiday prep and decorating of the home.
• Coordinate donation drop-offs.
• Assist with packing and unpacking for travel.
• Establish and maintain drop-zone systems at entry of home.
• Oversee outdoor spaces and reset dining areas after events.
• Occasional light outdoor support such as watering as needed.
• Restock pantry, refrigerator, and household supplies.
• Manage running household lists and subscriptions.
• Handle returns, dry cleaning, and shopping.
• Develop a weekly meal plan and grocery shop accordingly.
• Cook and prep health-conscious meals up to three times per week.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Wash, fold, and organize laundry on a consistent schedule.
• Help establish recurring laundry routines.
• Coordinate vehicle-related tasks and schedules.
• Maintain family calendar and appointments.
• Assist with travel planning and logistics.
• Oversee vendor scheduling and communication; coordinate repair quotes.
