Job summary

MCI Group is seeking an Executive Director to lead GI/GUSA programs, committees, and initiatives in a part-time, remote-capable role. You will coordinate day-to-day operations, manage timelines, support volunteer leaders, and ensure deliverables align with organizational priorities.

As the primary staff executive, you will supervise the GI/GUSA team, collaborate with the Board and committees, coordinate vendors, and oversee budget adherence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5–8 years of Association Management Company (AMC) experience preferred.
  • Progressive management experience in an association or nonprofit organization.
  • Travel to manage Giving Institute and Giving USA meetings (3 per year).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor day-to-day delivery of programs and services to maintain or improve quality.
  • Serve as chief staff executive for GI/GUSA with staff oversight.
  • Support Board and committees with staff reports, meeting scheduling, and materials.
  • Coordinate multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Oversee finances and budgets and ensure contract alignment with scope.
