Job summary

Lancaster Downtowners, a non‑profit Village of seniors, seeks a part‑time Executive Director to assess member needs and build community presence. The ED will oversee administration, programs, and the strategic plan, while fundraising, marketing, and outreach are key duties.

Collaboration with Landis Communities and aging‑services leadership is essential. Education/experience in human services with an interest in aging and proven administrative and leadership skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, gerontology, human services, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years direct experience in human services or related field, with interest in aging.
• Proven administrative ability and leadership experience.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and community representation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using organizational software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization.
• Lead fundraising, marketing, and community outreach.
• Build and maintain member relationships and assess needs.
• Collaborate with partner organization Landis Communities.
• Ensure compliance with bylaws and maintain organizational records.
