The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400, and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army.
West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking Part-Time Event Assistants to provide support in preparing for and executing all alumni events this year. The incumbents in these positions will report directly to the Director of Alumni Events and Operations with oversight by the Senior Manager of Alumni Events.
The ability to work day and/or evenings April-May and August-November is required. Excellent customer service and communication skills plus the ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and work in a fast-paced team environment is essential. The incumbents must also be reliable, detail-oriented, responsible, and possess a bright and positive attitude. Lifting event material, small equipment, and boxes weighing up to 40lbs is also required.
Strong organizational and oral communication skills required. The incumbent must be responsible, personable, and quick learner. The incumbents must be 18 years or older have their own reliable transportation and be willing to travel locally. Knowledge of West Point is a plus. This position does not offer benefits and will pay $16.50 an hour. Please submit cover letter and resume. Additionally, the incumbent must live within commuting distance of West Point.
