Job summary

El Encanto Restaurants in Cave Creek is seeking an enthusiastic part-time event server to join our team for the fall event season. You will play a vital role in delivering memorable experiences for guests at weddings, rehearsals, and corporate events.

The position requires professionalism, reliability, and the ability to take direction quickly. You'll set up, serve food and beverages, keep areas tidy, and help ensure the event runs smoothly from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper service etiquette.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible service.
• Ability to bend and lift to at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours.
• Excellent time management and prioritization.
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal.
• Extreme attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow verbal directions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and chairs with clean linens, napkins, glassware, and silverware as directed.
• Set up steam tables and chafing dishes.
• Polish glassware and flatware.
• Communicate with manager to ensure all setup and food are prepared at least 30 minutes prior to event start.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary practices.
• Anticipate guests' needs and exceed service expectations.
• Relate order details and allergies to the appropriate staff.
• Adhere to uniform standards (black shoes, black pants, white shirt).
• Work as part of a team to execute events successfully.
