Job summary

Rhino Sports & Entertainment Services, a division of REVELxp, is seeking part-time security event staff for Berglund Center in Roanoke, VA. You will be stationed at access points and crowd control zones to maintain a safe environment, enforce policies, and assist guests during events.

Requirements include being 18+, HS diploma or GED, ability to pass a background check, and the willingness to obtain an unarmed security license if needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Background check required.
• Prior experience in event security, guest services, or crowd management preferred.
• Be able to stand for long periods (outdoors, variable weather).
• Reliable transportation; weekend and night availability.
• For security positions: current unarmed security license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Monitor activity at key access points, crowd control zones and other critical areas.
• Enforce venue policies and provide guidance to guests as needed.
• Check credentials, assist with crowd movement and help resolve issues.
