Symphony Manor is seeking a part-time housekeeper for 2pm-10pm shifts with weekend rotation. The role supports resident wellbeing by maintaining clean rooms, common areas, and offices in a safe, infection-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Infection control principles in cleaning methods.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend and stretch for long periods.
• Read and understand English at intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash to prevent disease transmission and maintain safety.
• Perform daily housekeeping in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, floors, carpets, walls and ceilings.
• Complete cleaning when residents are discharged or moved.
• Maintain cleanliness of general areas and assigned rooms.
• Practice infection control in cleaning methods and personal hygiene.
• Store cleaning compounds and hazardous substances properly.
