Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• 8-hour pre-assignment security guard training preferred.
• Ability to obtain 16-hour On-the-Job Security Guard Training within 90 days.
• Completion of the 8-Hour Annual In-Service Course each year.
• NYS Security Guard registration and Fire Guard certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee evening security operations to protect residents, guests, staff and assets.
• Supervise security staff, monitor systems, conduct property inspections and document logs.
• Respond to incidents; enforce policies and ensure safe, secure environment.
• Patrol facilities; monitor access points and fire safety compliance.
• Maintain security reports and coordinate with center management.
