InterCommunity, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike dedicated to accessible, compassionate care across Hartford and surrounding areas.

The Residential Technician role supports nursing staff, performs vital signs and observations, and helps with admissions, discharges, and daily living activities in a secure, therapeutic environment. The position is part-time (16 hours/week) with shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, following a weekly schedule pattern.

Formación

• Active CNA/MA/PCA Certification from CT or equivalent experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Compassion, patience and dedication to patient care.
• Computer literacy and typing skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a team.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and documents vital signs.
• Performs and documents hourly observations.
• Performs and documents fall risk observations.
• Manages admission process for Withdrawal Management and Intensive units.
• Handles discharge process and patient belongings.
• Updates communication log, census and shared documents.
• Assists patients with ADLs as needed.
• Registers new patients to programs.
• Manages nightly Epic entries if applicable.
• Prepares patients for doctor visits.
• Maintains unit and room cleanliness and a therapeutic environment.
• Delivers thorough shift-to-shift reports.
