Job summary

The Pines at Catskill, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking a part-time receptionist to be the first point of contact for residents, families and visitors. This entry-level role includes evenings/weekends/holidays with pay differentials and a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Rate of pay is USD $17.30–$18.05 per hour. We offer comprehensive training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development in a caring, team-driven setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in using office equipment and computer applications.
• Empathy and understanding towards residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Receives inquiries and releases information per established policies and procedures.
• Coordinate appointments, meetings, and resident activities.
• Receives newspapers, mail, and gifts for residents.

What You'll Do:

As a receptionist, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere within our facility by acting as the first point of contact for all residents, families, and visitors. This entry-level position also offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn more about long-term care and its many career opportunities.

* Part Time Receptionist, 18-22 hours per week, evenings/weekends/holidays required

!!! We pay evening and weekend shift differentials for this position !!!

!! We require every other weekend, we pay time and a half on holidays !!

! Pay depends on experience level, the more you have the more we pay you !
