Peninsula Cleaning Service, Inc. in Newport News, VA is hiring part-time Floor Techs/Janitors to clean in Hampton and Newport News, VA, evenings 7:00pm–10:00pm, Monday to Friday.

You’ll perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, carpet cleaning, stripping/waxing, buffing, and trash removal in commercial buildings. We seek energetic individuals with 3–4 years of janitorial floor tech experience in commercial or medical facilities, ability to pass a background check, and pre-employment testing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, and perform carpet cleaning as part of routine floor care.
• Strip and wax floors, buff surfaces, and empty trash as needed.
• Work independently in commercial buildings during evening shifts.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PART-TIME FLOOR TECH/ JANITOR

As a Floor Tech / Janitor, you arrive each evening, ready to clean, sanitize. You enjoy "getting in the zone" and working independently without a lot of interruptions. Whether it's sweeping, dusting, mopping, carpet cleaning, stripping/waxing, buffing or emptying the trash, you get great satisfaction out of checking each task off one-by-one and being able to physically see what you've accomplished. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PART-TIME FLOOR TECH / JANITOR
