Job summary

Prairie View Assisted and Independent Living in Hector, MN is seeking a Part-time Evening Cook to join our team. The position focuses on preparing meals for residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care settings, under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor.

Wage range is $14.00 - $15.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Training will be provided, and you must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Ability to deal with and understand capabilities of customers, patients, and residents.
• Knowledge and practices food handling safety.
• Previous food service experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work efficiently, quickly, and safely to provide meals and snacks on time.
• All necessary training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• The Cook works under the direction of the Food Service Supervisor to prepare meals for clients in the Assisted Living and Memory Care settings of Prairie View.
• Ensure quality and safe delivery of meal services.
