Job summary

ServiceMaster Twin Cities is seeking a diligent cleaning professional to maintain clean and healthy environments for client facilities. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, window cleaning, stock restrooms and restock dispensers, and maintaining supplies while using PPE as required.

Flexible scheduling and paid training are offered. Prior janitorial experience is a plus, but training will be provided to applicants with strong work ethic.

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided services, products, tools and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash and cleaning windows.
• Restocking dispensers and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required and follow safety protocols.
• Opens and locks facilities and manages basic security per requirements.
• Will provide on-the-job training to those with strong work ethic.

Job Position Description:

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures


• Cleaning duties include: vacuuming , mopping, emptying trash, cleaning windows, restocking dispensers, etc..


• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.


• Use proper PPE where required


• Opens and locks facilities, enables and disables security system as required.


• 1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required


• Will provide on-the-job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.


• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.


• The ability to be flexible, and work at a fast-paced and multi-tasked job is a must.


• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable, and on time


• Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers


• Must be able to communicate in English


• Must have a clean background
