Job summary

Marsden Central L.L.C. is seeking a General Cleaner for our Duluth, MN facility to keep production areas clean and compliant with FDA standards. You will work Monday through Friday evenings, perform sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom sanitation, while interacting with staff as needed.

The role requires 18+ years old, ability to speak English, background check, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Safety training is provided prior to solo work and hours can start after 2 PM.

Responsibilities

General Cleaner at Marsden Central, L.LC.

Shift: Monday through Friday 5:00pm to 8:00pm

Location: Duluth, MN

Requirements:

This location is a manufacturing facility that operates 24×7. The facility must meet FDA requirements, so cleanliness is a priority. We clean the restrooms, break rooms, control room, entrances, locker/shower rooms, a couple hallways, stairwell and office space. There is a lot of walking and stairs, sweeping & mopping. Can be very hot, humid inside depending on the weather. Perfect candidate would be detail oriented and willing to converse with staff while working. Safety training is required prior to working solo – this training typically scheduled during the later morning hours between 10am-12pm (expect 30-60 minutes). Hours are flexible, can start any time after 2PM – 3-hour shift.

• Able to lift up to 30lbs.

Job Duties:

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors throughout.
• Waste Removal: Collecting and disposing of trash from bins throughout the building.
• Restrooms: Cleaning and sanitizing, restocking supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels)
• Surface cleaning: Dusting, wiping and sanitizing surfaces, fixtures and furniture.
