Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for the Navicent Health Medical Center: Peach – Emergency Department in Byron, Georgia. The RN will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, monitor and adjust care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a board-approved nursing education program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Administer medications and therapies safely per protocols.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and promote patient safety.
• Float to other units within the service area as needed.
