Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Arlington, VA. You will handle access control, patrols, and incident response at a technology site while maintaining high customer service standards.

The role offers flexible part‑time hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and advance toward full‑time schedules. Base pay is $21.75 per hour, with a schedule including DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces and parking facilities.
• Monitor access points and badge verification per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following established protocols.
• Prepare clear shift reports and documentation of activities.
