Job summary

Intertek-PSI in Tukwila, Washington is seeking a Temporary Engineering Technician to join our Professional Services Industries team. This role offers both part-time and full-time options and provides a chance to learn versatile skills in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.

The technician will perform testing, observations, site assessments, and maintain detailed documentation, with base pay $20–$28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate testing equipment and perform tests (soil, concrete or other).
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and diagrams.
• Willingness to work off-shift or overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing and provide data assessment.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
