Job summary

The College of Southern Maryland is seeking applicants for an Adjunct Faculty Applicant Pool in Engineering and Engineering Technology within the Mathematics and Engineering Department. Adjuncts are hired as-needed to teach day, evening, weekend, online, hybrid, laboratory, or clinical courses across multiple settings.

Qualifications

Requires mastery in engineering or engineering technology disciplines.
Strong communication and instructional skills.
Ability to teach in diverse settings and use instructional tech.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, present, assess and evaluate instruction.
Teach courses using approved curricula and syllabi.
Maintain current expertise and develop engaging lessons.
Incorporate instructional technologies and diverse learning styles.
Meet schedule and communicate changes promptly.
Submit syllabi and maintain attendance records.
Participate in meetings and professional development.
