Job summary

McKay-Dee Gastroenterology Center in Utah seeks a perioperative nurse to direct or provide professional nursing care for endoscopy patients. You will use the nursing process from assessment through evaluation to ensure high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.

The role includes preparing patients, assisting physicians, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining supplies in procedure rooms. A BSN, Utah RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• BSN degree is required.
• Current RN license in Utah is required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and/or provides professional perioperative nursing care for endoscopy patients.
• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist the physician.
• Sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Ensure adequate supply in procedure rooms.

Job description

REQUIREMENTS

• Current RN licensure in the state of Utah
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
