Job summary

DOCS Dental is seeking a part-time Endodontist to provide specialized care at military bases across the United States in Columbia, SC. The role offers autonomy within a supportive team and no on-call requirements, with scheduling of 1–2 Saturdays per month and potential growth.

Compensation is daily or a percentage of adjusted production, with malpractice coverage and access to digital tools. Candidates must hold a DDS/DMD and completed Endodontics residency, plus a state license and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited U.S. dental program.
• Completion of an accredited Endodontics residency program.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license.
• CPR/BLS Certification and DEA license (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pulpal and periapical conditions using evidence-based endodontic techniques.
• Perform root canal therapy and retreatment, pulpotomies, apicoectomies, and related procedures.
• Utilize digital radiography and other diagnostic tools for treatment planning.
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, post-operative care, and prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with general dentists to coordinate care plans and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Uphold infection control and sterilization protocols in compliance with CDC and OSHA standards
