ECN Clinical seeks an Endocrinologist to join as a Clinical Research Investigator, potentially as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator, in a per diem, part-time capacity. The role blends high-quality medical care with oversight of adult participants in clinical trials.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Valid, unrestricted medical license in the state of employment.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Endocrinology.
• BC/BE in Family Medicine or Geriatric Medicine considered.
• Current GCP certification or willingness to obtain prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical practice; prior clinical research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PI or Sub-Investigator on Phase I–IV trials.
• Perform physical exams and protocol screening for enrollment.
• Evaluate eligibility based on protocol criteria.
• Provide medical oversight and safety assessments for participants.
• Collaborate with coordinators, sponsors, and monitors for compliance.
• Sign source documents, CRFs, and regulatory paperwork.
• Maintain trial documentation per ICH-GCP, FDA, sponsor rules.
• Participate in SIVs, monitoring visits, and audits.
• Manage chronic/acute conditions per study guidelines.
• Educate patients on procedures, consent, and side effects.
