Job summary

National Wound Physician Group in Grand Junction, CO currently seeks a part-time Emergency Medicine physician with wound care expertise. The role offers autonomy, a 40-60 mile facility radius, and no weekend duties. Providers will cover 2-3 facilities per day and document at the bedside using our wound-specific EMR.

The position supports 3 weekdays per week, with full-time options occasionally available; compensation aligns with market for part-time EM physicians and includes benefits.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the practicing state.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Wound care or post-acute care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute settings (SNFs and LTACs).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities daily within a 40-60 mile radius.
• Document in real-time at point of care during rounds.
• No nights, no on-call, no weekend duties.
