Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC is seeking a part-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B / EMT-A) at Pine Bluff, AR. The EMT works within the Center Medical team to ensure donor health and safety while creating a welcoming donor experience.

You will screen donors, respond to reactions, and collaborate with staff. The role includes cross-training in phlebotomy and related functions, with opportunities to advance and earn more through performance and a monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education.
• Certified/licensed EMT (Advanced or Basic) in the state of employment; EMT-Bs require 1+ year of experience.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to maintain a positive donor environment.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross train in phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.

What You’ll DoAs an EMT (Physician Substitute), you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities
